Hula Hoop Dance

Hoop Dance at the UCSB Rec: Register online at: https://register.recreation.ucsb.edu/ Classes are open to everyone! You do not need to be a UCSB student! Classes are designed to challenge each level of hooper, each week we focus on a new style! Beginners and intermediate hoopers guaranteed to learn tons! Build a connection within the hoop and experience a new art form! Hoops provided. Covering chest hooping, knee hooping, breaks, chest rolls, elevator variations, coin flip variations, vortex variations, intro to doubles, specialty tosses, weave combinations, horizontal plane hooping, extension variations, transitions and a combo at the end of each class 😉 Winer session classes start January 16th and run through March 6th! Wednesday nights from 7:15-8:15pm 8 weekly classes Only $44 for students! $48 for non-students Feel free to stay after class and train with Santa Barbara Hoop Collective’s troupe! SBHC will be using the hour after class to work on and create choreography! Classes meet in 2320 Rob Gym on the UCSB campus. There will be at cap at 20 students per class!
