Join Santa Barbara Audubon Society and Jayden Washington Samuels for the May Monthly Program on Photographing Birds and Wildlife!

This talk will focus on Jayden’s experiences in the field with hummingbirds and shorebirds, and he will answer questions such as: “how can I photograph these animals” and “how can I observe these animals ethically (with and without a camera, what locations can I see these animals, etc.). He will also cover his opportunities at the LA Zoo and the Zoo Magnet program he attends.

Jayden Washington Samuels is a 17-year-old Jamaican-American wildlife photographer and animal enthusiast who specializes in the knowledge of birds and reptiles. He runs a California-based wildlife photography account @pictilephotography, and he mainly post his best bird shots he gets on his many outings. His love for animals shows in the amazing opportunities he gets to experience, such as going to a Zoo Magnet Program and being a student volunteer at the LA Zoo.
