Join Hospice of Santa Barbara’s illuminate Speaker Series with Daniel Goleman who will present Emotional Intelligence in the Challenging Times of a Pandemic on Wednesday, June 23 at 6:00 PM PDT. The event is free, but registration is required.
No one has been left untouched by the effects of living during a global pandemic. While we have navigated this time with technology and new practices to keep us safe, there is a burgeoning concern for the short and long-term ramifications of distance and isolation will have on us all. Furthermore, as we reach the other side of the pandemic and a hopeful return to “normalcy,” how do we prepare ourselves to adapt and flourish?
In this engagement, Daniel Goleman, the leading authority on emotional intelligence, will discuss why emotional intelligence is needed now more than ever and how to preserve and support our relationships and connections in the time of a pandemic that limits social interactions. And, ultimately, how we can prepare ourselves and relearn critical social skills as we make it to the other side of the Coronavirus pandemic.
