Join us for a educational discussion of linguistic diversity in interpretation and its impact on healthcare access for community members. Speakers will highlight challenges and strategies to deal with linguistic diversity in interpretation, and stress the need for interpreters to ensure equal access to resources and information.
This discussion also shares the motivations, methods, experiences, and initial results of the interdisciplinary research and community action project JSILO (Justicia Social de Intérpretes de Lenguas Originarias).
