Hollywood stunt trainer Jeff Lewis will be hosting a stage combat workshop on Saturday January 18 as part of InterAct Theatre School’s program.
Open to: All children age 6 to 16. InterAct is open for all children, with or without stage experience and this workshop is part of InterAct’s regular Musical Theatre course.
The workshop: ‘Age 6 and 7 – Comedy ‘falls and walls’. Age 8 to 16 – Introduction to stage combat. The class requires a good ability to focus and follow stage directions.
Location: The workshop takes place during InterAct’s usual three hour classes on Saturday mornings for which applications are taken throughout January 2020. Garden Street Academy, 2300 Garden Street, Santa Barbara CA 93105.
What is included: InterAct provides a full musical theatre program of weekly classes in singing, dance and acting. Students train in weekly classes with performances in March 2020. The stunt workshop runs for 1 hour (age 6-7) and 2 hours (age 8-16) on January 18.
