UCSB’s Blum Center Student Leader Team and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Local Affairs (EVPLA) are co-sponsoring a Renters’ Crisis Housing Forum and Q&A Session. This is the second in a series of forums stemming from our People’s Guide to UCSB’s Housing Crisis that is dedicated to addressing the crisis of affordable housing affecting our campus and surrounding community.

Renters’ Crisis Forum panelists include the EVPLA, Associated Students, Santa Barbara Tenants Union, Assistant Vice Chancellor & Dean of Student Life Katya Armistead, Isla Vista Community Services District (IVCSD), and the Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE).
This forum introduces resources, actionable steps, and efforts to utilize housing data for the purpose of addressing our housing crisis in both the short and long term.
