In August 2024, Washington-born singer and songwriter Jack Corliss approached the Devereux String Quartet with a set of original songs about home, heartbreak, and youth written over the last five years of his life. Always eager for a chance to create music that speaks to their community, the quartet wrote accompanying string parts, and gradually a full-length studio album came into being.
