JACKSON GILLIES & JAX PLAYS DEAD at AVOCADO FEST – GROTTO STAGE – SATURDAY NIGHT 10/3/2026 AT 7 pm in CARP!
If you are among the unfortunate souls unable to score a ticket for JACK JOHNSON at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday night, October 3rd, then make your way to one of the sweetest festivals around in beautiful Carpinteria and shake your bones to JAX PLAYS DEAD at 7 pm at the GROTTO STAGE at the AVOCADO FESTIVAL! No admission and plenty of food and music, an old-time ferris wheel, and family fun!
JAX PLAYS DEAD is a Jackson Gillies Project which covers the music of the Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band. Like his other projects (JAX PLAYS JIMI, JACKSON GILLIES TRIO & JGB JACKSON GILLIES BAND) Gillies will present your favorite tunes with soulful vocals and masterful guitar skills. Jackson is an authentic soul sharing the music he was raised on and adores.
Joining Jackson Saturday night will be Ben Congdon, Sasha Cohen, Sky Ulep and, Geoff Levy.
