Chef, author and food activist, Sonoko Sakai, author of Japanese Home Cooking: Simple Meals, Authentic Flavors will give a talk on the art of Japanese curry: culinary, cultural, and historical aspects – followed by a cooking demonstration.
The talk will begin at 6pm however, Ms. Sakai will be signing her cookbooks and her aprons and many delicious Japanese larder products will be available for purchase throughout the evening beginning at 5pm.
