Jerry Garcia Day Celebration – Chase Palm Park

On Saturday October 11 2025, at the Great Meadow at Chase Palm Park, the Santa Barbara Deadhead Community and beyond will gather to celebrate the music and legacy of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. This is the 5th annual rendition of the Heads All Happy Hour Jerry Day Santa Barbara Celebration and is named ‘Another Day In The Sun’ in homage to legendary Grateful Dead shows held at UCSB in 1974 and 1978. The lineup includes many of the leading Santa Barbara-based bands and musicians devoted to the music of Garcia and the Grateful Dead with some very special guests and even one of the most legendary guitars in rock and roll history – Jerry Garcia’s Alligator!

It’s an all-day show, Noon-8pm outdoors on the grass at beautiful Chase Palm Park, right across the street from the beach! Thanks to our generous sponsors, musicians, and volunteers, it’s a free show with donations and fundraising for Grateful Guitars Foundation and Santa Barbara ‘s JAMS Music School.  There’ll be food trucks, a beer & wine garden, vendors and a whole lotta live music and high spirits!
