Class Description: A traditional Japanese multi-course meal, where seasonings are delicately added so as to feature the flavors of the main ingredient. A Kaiseki can range from 4 to 15 small courses.

This class will cover the following:

  • Shokuzen-shu (aperitif) – Plum Wine
  • Sakizuke (appetizer)– Edamame with Roasted Sesame Salt Crumble
  • Hassun (seasonal sushi)– Citrus Roll with Salmon, Avocado, Unagi & Zest
  • Takiawase (vegetables with protein)– Sesame Crusted Ahi with Bok Choy
  • Atsu-mono (hot dish) – Braised Short Ribs
  • Su-zakana (pickled vegetable) – Pickled Wakame Seaweed Salad
