A Tribute to the Fillmore returns to SOhO with a SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THE LATE DAVE MASON.

 

Kenny Lee Lewis from The Steve Miller Band has assembled a stellar all-star show honoring the bands who played at the historic Fillmore music venues – Fillmore East in NYC and Fillmore West in San Francisco, during the Golden Era of Classic Rock. Preserving the vision of legendary rock concert promoter Bill Graham, this unique show is a look-back to the multitude of musical artists Graham had under one roof, festooned with ultraviolet chandeliers and a light show, which totally changed the way concertgoers experienced live music. Kenny brings these great musical memories back to life with songs by Taj Mahal, Cream, Pink Floyd, Howlin’ Wolf, Allman Bros, Neville Bros, Hendrix, Steve Miller, Santana, Junior Walker, Jeff Beck, Johnny Guitar Watson, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, The Kinks, BB King, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Etta James, and more. No two shows are exactly the same!

 

With the recent passing of renowned rocker Dave Mason, this special show will pay tribute to Dave & the band Traffic performing several songs featuring his longtime drummer, Alvino Bennett.
