Land Trust Treks are a series of guided hikes for the community to explore scenic Santa Barbara County and to meet your local Land Trust. Free and open to the public.

WHAT:

Join the Land Trust for a hike at the Lover’s Loop trail! Hikers will stop occasionally to take in the scenery along with water and snack breaks. Birding talks will be available.

This hike is intended to be a family event for individuals 12 and older, experienced hikers advised. It is a 4-mile loop trail with a healthy climb of a 738ft elevation change. There is street parking next to Midland school and the trailhead. Dogs on leash are allowed on the trail. No restrooms or water fountains are available on the trail. The trail has a mixture of shaded and exposed segments.
