Two cannabis education events scheduled for February 26th and 28th
KopSun LLC will host a Leaf Learning session from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the Carpinteria Woman’s Club, 1059 Vallecito Road, and a Coffee with a Cannabis Farmer meeting from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 at The Food Liaison.
Leaf Learning is a cannabis basics class whose takeaways include the differences between hemp and marijuana, the endocannabinoid system, how CBD and THC differ, dosing options, and varying methods of use. The session is intended for adults and open to the public. After the presentation, Dr. Margaret Peterson will answer questions from the audience on specifics of cannabis enhancing health.
Coffee with a Cannabis Farmer is an opportunity for community members to ask questions of and converse with a local cannabis cultivator in a relaxed setting, only 10 seats are available. There is no script or lesson plan.
Admission to either Leaf Learning and Coffee with a Cannabis Farmer is complimentary, though an RSVP is required. To reserve a seat or ask questions, email info@kopsun.com.
There is no selling or testing of products at either Leaf Learning or Cannabis with a Cannabis Farmer events.
