Let Loose Takes the Funk Zone is back!
Your wishes have been granted. We’ve teamed up with the Santa Barbara Wine Collective in the Funk Zone for a show on Thursday, January 19. Even though it’s a tad boujieer than you might be used to, we’ve got a great show coming up with an all-star lineup just for you.
The show will be headlined by the one and only, Jason Collings. He is a stand up comedian/ Actor and the cohost of The Lions Den Podcast originally from Long Beach, CA. Jason regularly preforms at The Comedy and Magic Club, The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store,The Improv, and clubs across the country. You may have seen Jason on one of his many TV appearances including VH1, BET’s Comic View, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Our feature comedian is Ahmed Al-kadri . Ahmed is a Yemeni-American comedian based in LA. He was previously working as an Accountant but his immigrant parents are forcing him to be a comedian. Most of his material is mined from his upbringing, relatable situations, and just some goofy fun. He started his career in 2016 taking an improv class at Dallas comedy House and has been hooked ever since. Since then he has been traveling the US making people laugh.
The laughs don’t end there. We’ve also got the hilarious Elyssa Phillips on the bill, alongside the irreplaceable Bee Gutierrez. And let’s not forget your illustrious host, the Let Loose comedy extraordinaire, Chris Williams. You’ve been asking for better comedy in the Funk Zone, so we’re coming to the Santa Barbara Wine Collective! Don’t make us regret it & come out and laugh with us on 1/19 at 7:30pm.
