“Age of Aquarius” themed celebration to benefit nonprofit legacy storytelling organization
Santa Barbara, CA — LifeChronicles will host its 10th Annual Remarkable Life Award Gala on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the oceanfront home of Susan Strick overlooking the Pacific Ocean (address available upon purchase). This year’s celebration, themed “Age of Aquarius,” will honor longtime Santa Barbara philanthropists Julianna and Tom Dain for their extraordinary generosity, community leadership, and lasting impact on countless lives throughout the region.
Friends and supporters of LifeChronicles will gather for an intimate evening of music, dancing, exceptional cuisine, wines from local wineries, and a lively auction — all in support of the nonprofit’s mission of preserving personal histories and legacies through filmed life stories.
For 28 years, LifeChronicles has created deeply meaningful documentary-style films that preserve the voices, stories, wisdom, and presence of individuals for future generations. Founded in 1998, the organization has produced more than 2,000 legacy videos in 43 states, 440 cities, and three countries.
“This year’s ‘Age of Aquarius’ theme celebrates compassion, connection, humanity, and the importance of preserving the stories that shape our lives and communities,” said Kate Carter, Founder and Executive Director of LifeChronicles. “Julianna and Tom Dain embody those ideals beautifully through decades of quiet generosity and unwavering support for organizations throughout Santa Barbara.”
Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the evening in their best flower power fashion while enjoying music by the ever-popular DJ Darla Bea and “all the dancing you can stand.”
The event will also highlight the mission of LifeChronicles and the enduring impact of preserving loved ones in both sight and sound — creating treasured films that become lasting gifts for families for generations to come.
Tickets are $250 per person.
