Lucinda Lane is an original band built around the empathetic core of singer Nicole Lvoff and guitarist/songwriter Joe Woodard, working in a hybrid style they call “IndyBossaJazzTwang.” This first show since the pre-COVID days will be opened by Paper Moon. The Lane is currently at work on its debut album–finally. Nicole has often played SOhO with her jazz group and released the album Here’s That Rainy Day, and Joe’s live/recording projects include Headless Household and flapping, Flapping.
Paper Moon (Brett Larsen, Liz Caruso and Liz Barnitz) offers up three-part harmony hijinks on tunes from a jumble of genres featuring accordion, guitar and beat box brushes.
