Love and Power: A Brief Evening of One Acts

Two one-act comedies!

A Marriage Has Been Arranged By Alfred Sutro

The play premiered at the Garrick Theatre, in London, on March 27, 1904. A marriage has been arranged between self-made millionaire Mr. Crockstead and the noble but penniless Lady Aline de Vaux… or has it? The Lady has her own point of view and feels quite free to share it. Mr Crockstead counters with a strange and unusual offer. Where do they land? (Comedy of society)

The Auditioning By Lisa Marciano 2019

The director and writer of a new Broadway play are sitting through auditions for the lead role. They are tired, frustrated and very recently split from each other. The final audition of the day brings more to the table than they could ever imagine. (Comedy, written by a Santa Barbara playwright).
