University Club
For students who have never played American Mah Jongg before or haven’t played in many years. Teaches the fundamentals and prepares you to play with others.
- The University Club of Santa Barbara will again host us to teach the (American) MJ Beginner 4 day Class on (Wednesday’s) 9/14, 9/16, 9/21 and 9/23/2022.
- Time will be 9:30-11:30am on each of those days. Commitment to the 4-day class is required for your success!
With a collective 10 years+ experience of Mah Jongg Teaching, the Santa Barbara Mah Jongg “Pung” of teachers of Helen McCann, Cynthia McClelland, and Sandra Walther have a tried, true, and FUN way to get you from zero to playing American Mah Jongg.
Passionate about the game of Mah Jongg and intent on building a strong community for Mah Jongg players to join together in the Santa Barbara area, Helen, Cynthia and Sandra believe in the importance of teaching not only the skills needed for Mah Jongg, but the etiquette and history of the game.
