The UC Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County invite you to join us for a new Garden Talk on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 7:00pm. UC Master Gardener Janet Rogers will share a research-based presentation, “Bare Root Fruit Trees”, to kick off the 2022 online Garden Talk series.
January is a great time of year to plant bare-root fruit trees. Janet will talk about the benefits of planting bare root fruit trees, how to select varieties based on chill hours, soil and water requirements, and more.
This presentation will help home gardeners enjoy the advantages of the diverse kinds of bare root fruit trees available at this time of year.
