Douglas Family Preserve

Join us for a morning at Douglas Family Preserve among the trees, ocean views and meandering paths. No outdoor experience needed!

Nature connection walks, sometimes referred to as forest bathing, are guided, mindful-yet-playful walks inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku and are associated with health and well-being. Your guide, Tamara, is a certified forest bathing guide.

What to Expect

  • Your guide will offer invitations to connect with nature using your senses and we’ll close with tea
  • Welcoming space for people from all walks of life
  • Different from a hike or naturalist walk and closer to a walking meditation
  • You’ll receive a heads up about what to bring (water, sun protection, etc.) in advance

Limited to a small group; advance registration required. Early-bird registration rates available!
