Come to Rocky Nook Park and nature journal with education staff from the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History! Nature journaling is an enjoyable and relaxing practice to inspire mindfulness, attention, and connection to the natural world. Ages eight and up are invited to join us as we explore our neighboring wild spaces. Meet at the entrance to the park, which is near the Museum.
Our nature journaling instructors certified through the Wild Wonder Foundation will provide feedback and tips to help you hone this craft. Bring your own journaling supplies or purchase a nature journaling kit including a notebook, 12 colored pencils in a pencil pouch, eraser, pencil sharpener, and a waterproof drawstring bag to carry your materials.
Registration is required. Sign up today while spots last. Free for Museum Members, $5 non-members.
This event is part of a series of Nature Journal Club events presented by the Museum in association with the Wild Wonder Foundation.
