Join us at the El Capitan State Campground Amphitheater on August 31 at 8:00 for a special double screening of “Carrizo Plain – A Sense of Place” and “Range Rider”, two more remarkable films from the NatureTrack Film Festival catalogue. This event, like all of our Summer Screenings, is free and open to the public.
Here’s a little bit about the films we’ll be showing on August 31:
Carrizo Plain – A Sense of Place (2020)
Explored through the eyes of three artists, Chris Chapman, John Iwerks, and Bill Dewey, the Carrizo Plain comes to life in this 32-minute documentary that reveals the special character of this hidden landscape. Through their personal sense of place, we discover what makes the Carrizo Plain National Monument and places like it so important for us all.
