RUBENSTEIN CHAN Contemporary Art
14 artists find creative ways to employ text as an integral part of their art, where text and poetry aren’t added elements, but essential forms within the composition.
Braille, reflection on deaf communication, peace prayers of eight religions and culture, chronicling centuries of dictators, piano scrolls, neon, aliens, phrases, whole paragraphs on paintings, on photographs, on walls, on soup. No boundaries.
Featured artists: Jana Brody, Kevin Claiborne, Patricia Houghton Clarke, Linda Ekstrom, Wrona Gall, Stephen Holland, Rod Lathim, Kathy Leader, Cynthia Martin, Salvatore Matteo, Tom Pazderka, Benjamin Provo, Larry Vigon, Michael Vilkin
