Be part of the solution to marine pollution! Collecting litter keeps trash out of the ocean and protects the planet. During these monthly cleanups hosted by the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Sea Center, come gain community with fellow ocean-lovers, and earn community service hours if you need them to graduate.
Anyone is welcome, just sign up online. Each date has its own sign-up sheet. Click here to find links to sign up on the Sea Center’s calendar. Participants under 18 will need a waiver signed by their parent/guardian, and children under 14 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian.
Meet us on the beach behind the Skater’s Point skate park and Palm Park parking lot at East Beach. We can provide bags and gloves, but encourage you to bring your own supplies to reduce waste.
