Ojai Raptor Center (ORC) is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife and to educating the community about wildlife and our shared environment.

On Sunday, November 12th, 2023, from 11AM-3PM the ORC will open its doors to the public for a fun afternoon full of live entertainment, presentations, interactive games, educational activities, tours, and a live auction.

NO LIVE BIRDS WILL BE PRESENT AT THIS EVENT

Join us for a wonderful day of fun, laughter, entertainment, and education! Enjoy musical entertainment provided by Kerri Climer, Tara Jeffrey, and The Three Cheers. Watch the Aerial Studio perform amazing feats on stage and attend inspiring and educational presentations by Ojai Ornithologist, Peter Laramendy, and Chumash elder Julie Tumamait-Stenslie

Bird walks will be facilitated by the Oxnard Birder’s Club, guests will receive bird-friendly native plant seed packets provided by the California Native Plant Society, and bird-friendly coffee samples by Birds and Beans Coffee. Walk through ORC’s Freedom Flight; California’s largest flight cage for raptors in rehabilitation and enjoy a delicious lunch from on-site food trucks. More offerings TBA!
