  • Santa Barbara Historical Museum – Project Fiesta!

    Project Fiesta! A History of Old Spanish Days will be held at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.  Celebrate the pageantry, fashion and traditions of our city’s most cherished cultural festival – Fiesta!

  • Courthouse Fiesta Tours/ Wednesday-Sunday

    free one-hour guided tours of this beautiful Spanish-Moorish Historic Landmark take place every half-hour between 10am and 3pm Wednesday through Friday, except during the Friday parade, and every hour Saturday and Sunday.

  • El Mercado del Norte/ 11am–10pm / Wednesday-Saturday

    After a 2-year hiatus, the Mercado del Norte at Mackenzie Park is back for Old Spanish Days! It is open 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. from Wednesday, August 3rd – Saturday, August 6th.

    El Mercado del Norte is a free admission, family-friendly event featuring a full carnival with rides and games, the MOST food vendors and merchant vendors to date, live music and dancing and the Crazy Horse Cantina!

    This family-friendly Mercado has a little bit of everything for everyone!

  • La Fiesta Pequeña

    La Fiesta Pequeña, “Little Fiesta”, is a colorful, historical program which includes traditional songs and dance from Californios Spirit. This event is free to the public.

  • The Historical Parade (El Desfile Histórico)

    One of the largest equestrian parades in the country, the Fiesta Historical Parade is unique to Santa Barbara and features floats depicting episodes from the history of the state and city. Descendants of local Native Americans, Spanish Pioneers, the Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West, and local service clubs and organizations all reenact historical scenes.
