Don’t miss One Thread Collective’s biggest and most exciting event of the year: Weaving Community: A Fashion Show Fundraiser.
Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the extraordinary artistry, creativity, and resilience of Indigenous Wayuu women weavers from northern Colombia. Every dollar raised supports One Thread Collective’s work advancing education, food & water security, and economic opportunity for women and families living in remote Wayuu communities in La Guajira.
This year’s event will take place at the historic El Paseo Restaurant in downtown Santa Barbara, beginning with an exclusive VIP reception at 5:30 PM at the One Thread Collective storefront. From there, guests will gather at El Paseo Restaurant for an inspiring evening of fashion, culture, music, and community.
All tickets include a buffet dinner and wine. Cocktails and other beverages will be available for purchase.
Event Timeline:
- 5:30pm VIP reception at the One Thread Collective store featuring regenerative cocktails from California Cocktail Collective and gourmet organic appetizers from Chef Peter Kraus
- 6pm Doors open at El Paseo Restaurant
- 6:30pm-7:15pm Dinner buffet is open
- 7:30pm-8:30pm Fashion Show & speeches
- 8:30pm Live auction
- 9pm Dessert & dancing
The VIP Experience:
VIP ticket holders will enjoy a pre-runway reception from 5:30 to 6:30 at the One Thread Collective store in the El Paseo Courtyard, just steps from the main venue. They will also have preferred seating for the show at El Paseo Restaurant on the ground floor.
