Abortion access is at stake. More than 500 abortion restrictions have been introduced across 41 states this year. As we prepare for the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn or gut Roe v. Wade, it’s more important than ever to remind ourselves what’s at stake for abortion access and reproductive freedom.
Join Planned Parenthood for an evening of advocacy and action as we watch the critically-acclaimed documentary film On the Divide from filmmakers Leah Galant and Maya Cueva and Fishbowl Films.
The Film: On the Divide follows the story of three Latinx people living in McAllen, Texas who, despite their views, are connected by the most unexpected of places: the last abortion clinic on the U.S./Mexico border. As threats to the clinic and their personal safety mount, our three characters are forced to make decisions they never could have imagined.
