This exciting event kicks off at noon with a Lowrider car show on the Library Plaza, presented by Nite Life Car Club of Santa Barbara. Guests can admire these beautifully restored cars and discover their history, art, and culture by walking through an exhibit of historic photos in the Faulkner Gallery West.
At 3:00 p.m. author Myriam Gurba will discuss her book Creep: Accusations and Confessions in the Faulkner Gallery. Gurba, who grew up in Santa Maria is a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and winner of the Lambda Literary Award. This bold and provocative work has been recognized as one of the most impactful books of the decade
