The UC Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County and Mesa Harmony Garden invite you to join us for a free, in-person presentation at Mesa Harmony Garden on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00am. UC Master Gardener Trudy Adair-Verbais will share a research-based presentation, “Monarchs and Milkweed”. Once there were millions of monarch butterflies, but lack of resources and other causes have led monarch populations to decline steadily and quickly over the past decade. Trudy will describe the challenges facing the monarch, the role of milkweed, and what you can do at home in your garden to help assist the Monarch. Please join us for this important and informative talk.

Parking is along the street. You can find a map and parking directions here.
Please bring a hat, dress in layers, bring water, and a folding or beach chair if you have one (seating is limited). Also note that there are no bathroom facilities on the property, so plan accordingly.
