Join us for the Quire of Voyces “Mysteries of Christmas” concerts on Saturday December 13th and Sunday December 14th at St. Anthony’s Chapel. 2300 Garden Street, at 3 pm both days. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of sacred a cappella music as we convey messages of peace, love, and blessings to our cherished Santa Barbara community.
The 2025 Quire of Voyces Mysteries of Christmas Concert is a rich collection of songs and carols, in new and luminous settings, by internationally acclaimed composers.
There is a special poetry when a beloved song is lifted and given new resonance by the art of composers attuned to the beauty of a cappella voices.
With these lustrous works, familiar Christmas music becomes fresh and present, like a starlit night in winter. Our hope for peace and love, that lies at the center of the Christmas season, softly glows in this music.
Featured works by Rachmaninoff, Morten Lauridssen, Becky McGlade, Matthew Culloton, and many others, including our own singing composer-in-residence, Stephen Dombek, fill a luminous program that is both contemporary, and timeless.
