Join us for the Quire of Voyces “Songs of Remembrance” concerts on Saturday May 10th and Sunday May 11th at St. Anthony’s Chapel. 2300 Garden Street, at 3 pm both days. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of sacred a cappella music as we convey messages of peace, love, blessings and memories to our cherished Santa Barbara community.
Our Songs of Remembrance Concerts speak to our heartfelt need to honor those who’ve gone before. Herbert Howell’s Requiem, the featured work, is a particularly poignant and personal work, and we so appreciate sharing it, along with other pieces that also address love and loss. And as we have done in recent years, we’ll be performing a new Commissioned work by our Composer-in-Residence Steve Dombek, as well as a new arranged piece by him.
In the resonant acoustic of St. Anthony’s Chapel all of the works performed at our spring concerts will come alive and touch the heart. We hope you’ll join us for some beautiful choral music on Mother’s Day weekend, May 10 and 11 at 3 pm.
