In its 2nd year, The Rabbit Run will again host a 10k, 5k, and Kid’s 1-mile Fun Run. This a flat and fast course along a dedicated bike path. The course runs along the beautiful Maria Ygnacio Creek and Obern Bike Paths which are paved with no vehicle traffic.
Free parking is available along Gwyne Avenue and the surrounding neighborhood. Packet Pickup is from 7-9 am near the Start Line at 865 Gwyne Ave, Santa Barbara.
The 10K starts at 9:00 AM, 5K at 9:10 AM, and the Kid’s 1-mile Family Fun Run at 10:15 AM. Water Stations will be at every 1.5 mile mark. There will be plenty of “nutrition” after the race.
The Awards Ceremony is also near the Start Line at 10:30 AM. Awards are issued to the top 3 runners in both the Men’s and Women’s categories for all Age Groups in 5-year increments for both the 5K and 10K
Peter Rabbit will again be handing out Easter Eggs (filled with chocolate) to those that tell him ONE thing that they are grateful for!
