We have special “home movies” lined up and we’ve invited some of the creators, like award-winning directors, producers, and writers to join us on stage after the screenings to talk about their films.
There was a time when Santa Barbara was at the very center of the burgeoning film industry, more prolific than Hollywood and on par with any other filmmaking locale. With deep respect and appreciation for our heritage as a Grand Movie Palace, and in recognition and awe of the wealth of talent we have in our midst, The Granada Theatre presents this very special Centennial film series: Santa Barbara Home Movies, films by artists and performers who call Santa Barbara home! We’re kicking off our series with the screening of Steal Big, Steal Little, directed by Andrew Davis and it stars Andy Garcia and Alan Arkin
