So nice we’re doing it twice! Our annual public bowling event, Bowltoberfest, is such a hit we’ve decided to host a second beers & bowling event to celebrate Santa Barbara’s favorite longest day of the year w/ an SBLBC twist: Summer Bowlstice!
Come join us on the green on Saturday July 1st for an afternoon of lawn bowling and local beer tasting! No experience necessary, we will be playing a modified game of bowls easy for anyone to pick up but still fun for experienced bowlers.
11:15 – Check in starts, players are welcome to practice
Noon – Spider Roll and Game 1 begins
1:45 – Game 2 begins
3:30 – Winners Announced
There is a limited number of team spots available, so sign up today! $50 a person includes*
- Four player teams
- Two 10-end games against different teams
- Free bowling lessons the week before the event
- We will have prizes for the winner of the Spider Roll and for the team with the best scores for the day
- A flight of summer friendly beers from local breweries
- Commemorative tasting cup

This year we have also added the option of pre-purchasing a burrito ($10) to be ready when you check in! A limited number of burritos will be available for purchase the day of for $12.
*$40 Designated Driver tickets are also available. Instead of beers you’ll receive a selection of non-alcoholic beverages to taste while you bowl.
