What if community, environmental and business leaders in Santa Barbara were all on the same page? What if everyone worked together toward the goal of building a more sustainable future in our region? The Santa Barbara Sustainability Symposium is a first-of-its-kind virtual event meant to gather a cross-section of business executives to discuss what sustainability means to their industries.

Scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., the Santa Barbara Sustainability Symposium will be moderated by Seth Streeter, CEO of Mission Wealth & Sustainable Future. The panel includes representatives of the construction, renewable energy, manufacturing and agriculture industries, as well as, special guests Darin Olien, co-star of Netflix hit “Down to Earth” and Jo Flemming, Executive Director of the California Green Business Network.

Attendees will learn the past, present and future trends in sustainable practices, steps all businesses and individuals can take today to improve their practices and how to engage with programs like Sustainable Future and California Green Business Network.
