Savor the flavors of autumn and celebrate the release of chef and author Pascale Beale’s new cookbook, FLAVOUR, Savouring The Seasons: Recipes From The Market Table, at a special Women’s Literary Voices Salon. Hosted at A to Z Cooking School, the evening will feature a cooking demonstration and an interview with Pascale about her creative process in both the kitchen and on the page. Guests will enjoy a tasting of The Grape Harvester’s Salad, one of her signature dishes, and are invited to stay for conversation.

Women’s Literary Voices (WLV) is a diverse, multigenerational group of women based in Santa Barbara, dedicated to elevating the work of female-identifying authors across literary genres. For over 15 years, WLV has hosted unique events that engage the community, foster conversations, and create connections through a shared love of the written word. Pascale Beale chef, teacher, and food writer, grew up in a family passionate about food, wine, and the arts. Taught by her French mother and grandmother, she founded Pascale’s Kitchen in 1999 to share her love of California-Mediterranean cuisine with aspiring cooks.
Pascale has authored 10 cookbooks, including Salade, Salade II, and Les Fruits. Her four-volume series A Menu for All Seasons explores Mediterranean flavors through Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. She is also a multi-award-winning columnist and photographer for Edible Santa Barbara.
