Meet us in the Faulkner Gallery for an evening of live music and creativity.

Enjoy a performance by local artist Brayell and their band as part of Breaking Tunes, The Independent’s video series highlighting local musicians.

The Independent will be filming the performance, so audience members can get a behind the scenes look at how Breaking Tunes is made while enjoying the vibes and getting creative making their own zine pages during the show.

This free event is open to all, but is best for adults.

Stop by, get inspired, and enjoy some live music at the library!

About Brayell
Brayell is an independent artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Goleta, California. Blending alternative hip-hop, indie rock, and melodic songwriting, his sound combines live instrumentation with modern production and introspective lyricism. A former American Idol contestant, he has built a strong local following through both his releases and live performances across Santa Barbara.

Known for his genre-blending approach and self-produced work, Brayell continues to develop a distinctive sound that bridges hip-hop, rock, and soul-influenced melodies while expanding his presence as an independent artist.

This program is made possible thanks to a generous donation from Santa Barbara Bowl.
