Gather ’round for marvelous marine nature journaling! Nature journaling is an enjoyable and relaxing practice to inspire mindfulness, attention, and connection to the natural world. Ages eight and up are invited to join the S.B. Museum of Natural History and Sea Center as we sketch marine life in the Dive In: Our Changing Channel exhibit* during this interactive nature journaling workshop. Meet outside the Sea Center on Stearns Wharf.
Our nature journaling instructors certified through the Wild Wonder Foundation will provide feedback and tips to help you hone this craft. Registration is required, sign up while space lasts. Free for Museum Members, $5 non-members. Bring your own journaling supplies or purchase a nature journaling kit including a notebook, 12 colored pencils in a pencil pouch, eraser, pencil sharpener, and a waterproof drawstring bag to carry your materials.
This event is part of a series of Nature Journal Club events presented by the Museum in association with the Wild Wonder Foundation.
