Poppies Art and Gifts will hold its first Art & Craft Market on April 14 (weather permitting) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 323 E. Matilija St., Ojai (in front of the shop). The family-friendly event will include Cindy Kalmenson, who will offer a free paper bead-making station for kids of all ages, and Robin Nahin, who will present a pottery wheel demo to highlight her Firestick pottery for sale in the shop.
The newly opened Poppies Art and Gifts offers fine art and handcrafted items at affordable prices. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays (closed Tuesdays). For more information, call the store at 805-798-0033.
