The Alcazar Theatre proudly presents the play “Shooting Stars,” by Molly Newman.
This funny, poignant play, set in 1962, explores the challenges faced by a women’s professional basketball team in pre-Title IX America. As the team yearns to be taken seriously, they are forced by their manipulative coach to clown around in exhibition games against men’s teams.
But their lives are about to change…
