Solo Exhibition at Grossman Gallery in Lompoc

I wanted to invite you all to my solo art show at the Grossman Gallery at 501 E North Street , Lompoc for June 2019. The reception is held Saturday June 1 from 6-9pm but the exhibit is ongoing June 1-29th. You are welcome any time!

I mostly shoot landscape and animal images as I do a lot of nature and physical activities. I want people that aren’t there with me physically to be able to see what I saw, feel what I felt, sense what i sensed especially if they maybe can’t pursue a trek into the wilderness for miles themselves, but they can still hopefully get a sense of what this adventure would be like and feel like they actually did it themselves. A moment stopped in time for anyone to enjoy is my ultimate goal – to provide a sense of tranquility, happiness and how the wilderness calms your senses – or simply a dog running free and happy on a dog beach playing with other dogs and joy radiating throughout his whole body. At times just staring at a wonderful landscape ahead can be the key too, but immersion or evoking a feeling of positivity when you see my pictures is what i mostly hope for.

I’m born and raised in Sweden, but I’ve lived half my life in the US mostly in California, but also on the eastern shore of Virginia. I love to travel – see new destinations, eat new cuisine, hike, kayak, snorkel, horse backride, ski…

I hope I have provoked a sense of curiosity and that I will see you at my exhibit. I’m able to meet before, during or after the exhibit as well. The gallery is not manned except for during the reception when I’m there and at other times I can come to the gallery as well, but the gallery is also used for other functions, which is why they asked me not to be there the whole time, but I’m more than happy to come over at other times then the reception too.
