Solvang Brick & Builds is a fun-filled weekend celebrating all things BRICK in the charming Danish village of Solvang, California!

Join us in Solvang, California, “The Danish Capital of America,” for our first-ever event weekend filled with brick-building fun. Solvang Brick & Builds, with an event line-up set for Saturday and Sunday, April 5 and 6, 2025, will provide attendees with a total brick-building immersion experience. Get ready to see pro builders compete throughout the town of Solvang, meet and greet Master Builders, and connect with other brick enthusiasts. Whether you’re a master builder or a newcomer to the world of brick-building, this event is ideal for all. Don’t miss out on the chance to surround yourself with all things “brick” and endless displays of creativity. Mark your calendars and get ready to have a brick-tastic time!

SATURDAY, APRIL 5th, 2025

SOLVANG VETERANS MEMORIAL HALL (1745 Mission Drive)

10:00 AM –  Venue Opens.

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Displays from brick-builders on view for public voting, brick vendor zone, and much more!

1:00 PM – BrickLink® Panel

3:00 PM – Master Builders Panel

5:00 PM –  Venue Closes.

DOWNTOWN SOLVANG

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Pro Brick Building Competition.

Town-wide builders begin their magical creations: a storybook with assigned Hans Christian Andersen themes popping off the pages.  Cast your vote as professional creators weave their building block magic into their own interpretations of a fairy tale for a grand prize!

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Brick Quest Scavenger Hunt. Ticketed expo attendees will receive a map guiding them to various  locations throughout the quaint downtown village of Solvang where you will receive a stamp. Once all locations have been discovered, return to the Visitors Center located at 1639 Copenhagen Drive for a brick-tastic keepsake.

SOLVANG PARK (Mission Drive & First Street)

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Kids Brick Building Zone, activities, and vendors.

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Live music by Unfinished Business. Come rock out to this 1960’s rock ‘n roll and soul band!

SUNDAY, APRIL 6th, 2025

12:00 PM – Meet and Greet with Master Builders.
