What: Souljas Progression Community Fundraiser for Re-Entry, Transitional, & Community Programs
Come meet Souljas Progression for an insightful and engaging panel and community fundraiser. Sowing Our Unity Love Justice And Spirituality is a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating the suffering of people affected by incarceration and homelessness. Our mission at SOULJAS Progression Inc. is to Create Platforms of Stability that Reward the Community with Change you can Trust from the formerly incarcerated. We empower individuals to re-enter society and have productive and meaningful lives ON PURPOSE! We foster communities by providing vegan meals, Kangen water, LifeKits, donated clothing, and non-judgemental support ON PURPOSE! We offer the following re-entry programs: Responsibilities Emotions Pressure REP Workshop & Honor Evolve Awareness Love HEAL Meditation, Trash 2 Treasure Community Clean Ups, Garden Clothes Community Gardens, Kangen Water Distribution, & volunteer opportunities. Come see what Souljas are all about!
We will have a dance performance from Steph Franco, an insightful panel with Wendall El Amin Director of Multicultural Metamorphosis, Nita Marquez Founder of the CHAMPION System, Peak Performance & Stress Management Coach, Kevin Lambert Lead Trainer/Facilitator at Sow A Seed Community Foundation, Kiran Wali Founder of LifeKit Los Angeles, Abdullah Mubashir Scholar, Sandee Taylor Network Coordinator and Meditation Coach at Souljas Progression, and Founder MArquis Mitchell of Souljas Progression. Vegan Food will be available from Mesa Verde, VidaGlad Juice Shots, and Imani’s Garden Exotic Fruit Stand. Vendors and raffle from Sanctified Soldier, Body Mind Gratitude, Angel Kisses Studio, Pura Luna Apothecary, & Beholden Craft. Music by Dj Dara Genesis.
The Fundraiser continues to Topa Topa Brewing Co. where 10% of the sales will go towards Souljas Progression from 7pm-11pm.. with Dj Dara Genesis.
