Celebrate the peak of summer light with two powerful practices:
108 Sun Salutations and 108 rounds of Om Hrim Shivaya Namaha using a japa mala.
Join for one or both—come and go as you need.

In yogic tradition, the Sun—Surya—is honored as a source of wisdom, vitality, and renewal. It reminds us that light returns each day, no matter the weather. This Solstice practice invites us to align with that rhythm—to tend to our own inner fire, not just with heat and vigor, but in a way that’s sustainable and true.

The mantra Om Hrim Shivaya Namaha is a powerful invocation of Shiva (consciousness) and Shakti (energy). The bija sound “Hrim” amplifies the transformative power of Om Namah Shivaya, making it especially resonant at this sun-drenched turning point in the year.

The number 108 is sacred in yoga, symbolizing wholeness—a complete cycle of breath, movement, and devotion. Whether you flow through each Salutation or rest between rounds of mantra, each repetition is an offering—an embodied way to return to center, honor the light within, and move with the rhythms of the Sun, Moon, and Earth.
