The booklet includes need-to-know information from the author’s over 25 years of experience in successfully managing her own healthcare challenges. Doctors, nurses, therapists, and women with health issues have found the booklet to be a valuable and practical guide to advocating for your own effective healthcare.

Marisa Pasquini is a speaker, author, and trainer of family and professional caregivers of people with dementia with proven techniques that master upset and create peace.  A former director of a nonprofit hospice agency, Marisa is the founder of the National Home Care Academy, which provides several training program for professional and family caregivers, and delivers confident caregivers and happy clients

Catherine Callahan is a land use planner-turned-healthcare advocate. Her business, ICareHealthCare, was born of her journey through the healthcare system and the lessons she learned through advocating for her own healthcare. Catherine lives in Santa Barbara with her dog Nena Blue, and sings in the Unitarian Society choir.
