Grammy-award-winning violinist Johnny Gandelsman will perform on February 16, 2022, at St. Mark’s in the Valley, as part of the 41st season of the Santa Ynez Valley Concert Series. His solo performance will feature original works from his This is America project and pieces by Bach.

Gandelsman returns to the Santa Ynez Valley Concert Series with an ambitious anthology project he was inspired to create in response to the turbulent period our country has been experiencing since 2020. He commissioned original pieces from 20 American composers focused on the theme: This is America.

With the current COVID environment, an advanced ticket purchase is required. Buy online at https://smitv.info/syvconcerts. General admission tickets are $20. Concert admission is FREE for ALL students (with a student ID.)

St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley Church is located at 2901 Nojoqui Avenue in Los Olivos (one block west from the downtown flagpole).
