TechWise SB, a local grassroots organization with the mission to help children have healthier relationships with technology inside and outside of school, is launching a community book club this summer. The theme for the book club is tech/screens and kids. An exciting addition is that most of the authors of the chosen books have committed to being involved in some capacity, most likely a podcast interview or personalized discussion questions.
Please join us this summer in reading our first book Screen Schooled by Joe Clement and Matt Miles. Our book club will meet on Saturday, August 13, 9am, at Alameda Park near Kids World. For those of you too busy to read, don’t worry, we will provide a “Cliff Notes” version so you can still participate in the discussion. Kids are welcome. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
