The #OccupyOrtegaPark Youth Brigade group, a for kids by kids grassroots youth group that evolved from the organizations mission to cultivate new leadership invites families and teens for a their first in a series of youthcentric events. Teen Solstice, was derived from the fact that when it comes to activities for teens there are very little options that are create by kids.
The Teen Solstice will be an art show and swap meet where kids and their families can have fun in a safe , sacred , space creating a mobile art mural, do mask making, learn about CommUNIFY and organizations that offer services for youth and parents and just come have a good time this summer. The event is open to any youthful vendors or vendors with youthcentric activates at come set by 11am on the day of the event. There will also be a FREE clothes exchange of softly used clothes to find he coolest one of a kind outfits.
